Turley Jeweler, a tenant in the old Farmer’s Daughter building at Third and Main streets since 1969, has seen numerous turnovers of the building’s owners over the years. Each time, the Turley family was able to remain in the building under new ownership. The Turleys say they have no clue what will happen to their retail space there if the building is sold Dec. 30 at auction.

The first clues have been posted in area businesses and searchers are diligently looking for Ormsby's medallion as the Small Town Christmas celebration begins. A different clue will be posted daily until Saturday and, if the medallion isn't found earlier, starting at 10:30 that morning, clues will be posted hourly in front of the Hall until it's found. The finder will receive a $50 savings bond.
